How to reach Castiglione d'Orcia coming from the North:
Reach Florence with the A1 MOTORWAY.
Take the FIRENZE CERTOSA EXIT.
Take the FIRENZE SIENA highway.
Take the SIENA SUD EXIT
Follow the SS 2 "CASSIA" road to ROMA BUONCONVENTO.
Keep following the SS2 CASSIA road heading South until you see signs to
CASTIGLIONE d'ORCIA (about 47 kms after you get off at the Siena Sud exit).
To reach Castiglione d'Orcia follow Road SP 323.
From Castiglione d'Orcia to the farmhouse
Go through the town. Keep on following the same road, after a few kms you will reach a fork: keep toward the right (follow the sign to Castel del Piano). Shortly after you will reach the locality named POGGIO ROSA (just a few houses on the road). You have almost arrived. When you pass Poggio Rosa look on your left: you will notice a small uphill road and a wooden sign directing you to the Bindozzino farmhouse.
